海潮负荷对地球内部潮汐应力和应变的影响

The effect of ocean tide loading on stress and strain in the Earth’s interior

  • 摘要: 详细介绍了海潮负荷影响的计算理论,基于PREM地球模型计算了地球内部的负荷勒夫数及负荷格林函数;并以上海台和武汉台为例,计算了海潮负荷对不同深度处的应力和应变潮汐的影响. 结果表明:深度是影响海潮负荷应力的一个重要因素,在靠近计算点的区域,应力负荷的影响随深度增大而减小;而对于远离计算点的区域,应力负荷的影响却随深度增大而增大;另外,深度会影响某些应力和应变潮汐分量时间变化的相位. 在沿海地区,海潮负荷对应力和应变的影响超过了应力和应变固体潮的影响,因此该影响在应力和应变测量中必须要加以考虑.

     

    Abstract: The theory of ocean tide loading computation was introduced in detail, and the load Love numbers and the Green’s functions in the Earth’s interior were computed for the Earth model PREM. Furthermore, the effect of ocean tide loading on strain and stress in the Earth’s interior with different depths were computed at the stations Shanghai and Wuhan as examples. The numerical results show that the depth is a critical factor in the computation. The ocean tide loading effect commonly decreases with the depth increasing for the stations in the near field, whereas the effect is contrary for the stations in the far field. Additionally, the depth affects indeed the phases of the stress and strain tensor components. And the effect over coastal area is larger than that from solid Earth tides. As a result, the ocean tide loading effect must be taken into account in the stress and strain measurements.
