南京地区地球物理场与地震构造稳定性

Analysis on geophysical fields and seismicstructural stability in Nanjing region

  • 摘要: 岩石圈的不均衡状态是地球物理场存在差异的原因,对区域地球物理场进行分析,可以了解岩石圈的不均衡及其构造活动的背景.本文在对南京地区地震地质环境分析的基础上,通过重力异常、地热场、深部速度结构、天然地震层析成像等地球物理资料进行系统分析,研究它们与本区地震构造稳定性的关系; 分析研究地震活动,从现今地壳运动速度场与地壳形变观测资料研究本区大范围构造应力状况; 最后结合该区域新生代演化史和第四纪沉积与活断层研究成果的综合分析,得出本区地震构造相对稳定,不存在发生特大地震的构造条件,研究区未来可能发生的破坏性地震强度为中等或中等以下.

     

    Abstract: Non-isostatic state of the lithosphere causes anomaly in geophysical fields, on the other hand, analysis on geophysical fields in an area may be helpful for identifying whether the lithosphere is isostatic or not. In this paper, geophysical data, such as gravity anomaly, geothermal flow, wave velocity structure in deep crust, and seismic tomographic result,etc.,were systematically analyzed.And also investigated the regional seismicity,crustal motion velocity and deformation observations, geo-history development in Cenozoic periods, Quaternary sediments and active faults in Nanjing and its neighbor area. We hold that the geological structure in Nanjing region is relatively stable. Based on the result we think that no large earthquakes would occur in the study region, and the destructive earthquakes possibly occurred in the future in Nanjing region may be moderately strong or weaker ones.
