A SEISMIC EQUIPMENT FOR SHALLOW EXPLORATION WITH ENHANCED SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO, TYPE ZD-1

  • This equipment can be used to investigate the structure of shallow layers, ten to several hundred meters below surface. By stacking the wave signals in processing the data, it has been possible to improve the signal-to-noise ratio.Bight-bit monolithic large scale integrated circuit A/D coverter is employed. Speeds of sampling are 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 per second respectively. The storage capacity of this equipment is 1024×8 bits. By means of delay circuits it is possible to increase the efficacy of storage.Analog and digital codes are used in recording wave signals. This seismic outfit has high portability, low power consumption, wide dynamic range and high time accuracy etc. Satisfactory results have been obtained in the field.
