  • The features of measured distribution of displacement at 10 earthquake faults are analyzed. The different forms of measured distribution curves of displacement and the curves calculated by Finite Element Method are compared. The results show that: those earthquake faults with different state of rupture are different in their curves of displacement distribution; the distribution of displacement is related with the strength,and with the degree of rupture,of the locked region along the seismogenic fault.
