  • The influence of the variations of earth temparature and groundwater level on apparent resistivity is quantitatively analysized in this paper. The geoeleetric section corresponding to the variation of earth temparature and groundwater level are modelled. The resistivity of this sort of section is not straticulately homogeneous. We calculated apparent resistivity by the finite element method. The calculation shows that for geoeleetric sections similar to that at Linyi Station,the influence.of variation of groundwater level on the annual variation of apparent resistivity is about twice that clue to earth temparature variation.The depth of bedrock strongly controls the magnitude of annual variation of apparent resistivity. The shallower the bedrock,the more obvious is the annual apparent resistivity variation,and vice versa.
